Crafty Craft Craft!

I have been a busy little bee!  Someone asked about scarves, so I’ve been crocheting my little heart out!  I have some scarves, a few infinity scarves, and a few flowered ear warmer headband thingies… LOL I know, what a thing to call them!

I had a little fun making business cards with scrapbook supplies =)  I had some from vistaprint, but they didn’t have this blog on them, and they were just so blah… I hate to waste them =(

I’ve also been trying to sew for my tiny doll, she is proving very hard to sew for!  I’ve named her Ramona.

There was a little snow the other day, but this tree just won’t give up it’s leaves! (sorry, early morning photo and I couldn’t hold still for the exposure)

 

Reese’s Puff’s Muffins?  Not so sure about them…

 

Shopping List!

I need to make a trip to the store-  I need wood dowels to devise a display rack, wood glue for said wood dowels, hot glue sticks because I lost my bag of them, and narrow blue and white ribbon to match the fabric I’m making scrap drawstring bags out of.
How are your holiday preparations coming along?  I’m hosting Turkey Day dinner at my house on Friday, we are traveling to the Hub’s aunt’s house on Thursday.

Vacation!

WOOHOO!  It’s almost vacation time!  We leave Saturday in mah new cahr (Steffan) for Pentwater, MI.

I may disappear until Monday, July 16.  I may pop in and just post random pictures.  I can’t promise anything, I’m a flake to begin with, but on vacation it’s hard to say if I’ll do a dang thing.  lol

I will be taking along some hand sewing, some yarn and a crochet hook, and maybe a little scrapbooking too.  (Yes, going on trips with me can be a packing-the-car nightmare)  I may even make sure it is something portable for the beach!  Cousin S thinks we should spend 5+ hours on the beach daily, and well, I can only sunbathe and swim for so long.  I usually take a book, but I almost lost a library book last year, so I’m a little leary of that.  I may download some books from the digital library on my new phone.  I better be positive I have my phone charger with me!!!

Hello world!

I am so wishy-washy.  I am sick of being so wishy-washy.  I either end up hating my blog, or hating where my blog is hosted, and going elsewhere to start fresh. 

I am done with that.  You want to know why?  Because I just bought a domain!  I can’t be wishy-washy now, there are real US Dollars changing hands for me to be me right here.  I have this space for a whole year, and dammit, I better use it!  =) 

I now own kurtzcraftsblog.com.  I am going to do this right!
